Worldwide Airship Operations, L.L.C. is a newly established limited liability corporation for the purpose of operating WDL 1A, 1B and Wuellenzep model airships.All Worldwide Airship Operations, L.L.C. pilots and crew are experienced professionals with over 25 years experience in airship operations.
Worldwide Airship Operations, L.L.C. is the primary company that will provide WDL model airships on lease for full service advertising and promotional tours in North America.
In March of 2001, Worldwide Airship Operations, L.L.C. will enter into a 30-year lease with the city of Ormond Beach for a 10-acre site on the Ormond Beach Municipal Airport for the new hangar and airship manufacturing facility.
Construction of Phase I of our new hangar is scheduled to be completed by September 2001.
Hangar 1 will be 75 meters (246 feet) wide, 80 meters (262 feet) long, and 33 meters high (109 feet).
The two-story manufacturing and office complex will be 25 meters (82 feet) wide and 80 meters (262 feet) long.
U.S. Airship Manufacturing, Inc., another affiliated company, will occupy the manufacturing area and will produce a full range of U.S. Type Certified Airships and helium aerostats creating the largest group of companies in the lighter than air industry.
